Digital Safety and Security

 One of the most important steps we can take in terms of ensuring our digital safety is making everyone aware that the internet is not as safe and secure as it is projected . Implementing an internet awareness program as early as 3 years old  consistently with the same approach that we teach children about strangers, would be a good start. 
This strategy which can be implemented to help our students keep digital safety in the forefront of their minds would be  to treat the internet as a “Stranger”. Remember “Don’t Talk To Strangers” is a preventive measure designed  to protect children from being kidnapped. Maybe something on that caliber would also work on the internet .
